  Exceptional church community and pastor! My husband, Tony, and I and our two children have been members of Christ The Redeemer since 2007. Having been previous members of two other large Catholic parishes in Georgia and Pennsylvania, we love the small community of family led by Fr. Brian Higgins who ensures each and every Mass is a spiritual enlightenment for people of all ages and ethnic groups. In support of the countless parishioners who give of their talents to the Church and community, it has been a rewarding experience and privilege for me to be a 6th Grade religious education teacher for three years and for Tony to have served on the parish council. I too am saddened by the prior review and misunderstood negative context and also wish the person had stayed long enough to hear the full sermon which was filled with compassion and humility. We encourage anyone searching for a Catholic Church to consider Christ The Redeemer where you will be warmly welcomed as part of a growing family.

  I LOVE Father Brian!! I have been away from the Catholic Church for many years (I was bored and wasn't getting anything out of it) only going a couple times a year when I was with mom to make her happy :). She started attending Christ the Redeemer after moving to Dawsonville and I attended with her and actually miss it when I don't go now. Father Brian is so passionate, down to earth and he explains everything well and in relatable terms. He's so real and never talks down to us. He's very approachable and actually makes mass FUN wow! It's such a family environment and real community. The choir couple and their little girl are adorable. Love watching the alter servers so cute.

  Best church ever! The priest is super, the people are friendly, and the Mass is reverent and beautiful.
